Concerns about sustainability and the planet are facts of life seen daily on news and social networks. Aware of our responsibility to future generations, it’s in our hands to take actions every day to conserve and restore natures balance.
In the world of incentive trips and conventions, we too have an opportunity to influence this change. Like the activity that Fil Mediterranean organized for a group of 160 people on their annual convention. The group spent the afternoon helping restore the natural balance of one of the most deteriorated coastal areas of the Costa Brava.
In just 3 hours, they planted native plant species, removed invasive varieties and built nest boxes and insect hotels. In a protected natural park, the group achieved its goal, which was to dedicate an afternoon to team work outside of its usual context. They organized and coordinated, distributed tasks and collaborated, themselves reaping the benefits of spending time in nature.
As a result, the land they visited was enriched by the improvement of a natural habitat that has been damaged for years by tourism and construction.
Fil Mediterranean, as a DMC, achieved its goal of uniting people with places, enriching themselves, each other and the planet – an exchange with positive impact for all.
