In less than a year, LEGENDS: The Home of Football presented by LALIGA has become one of the main tourist attractions of the capital.

More than 100,000 visitors have enjoyed the most passionate and moving football experience in history. Since its opening on June 19, LEGENDS has become the preferred destination for football fans and curious people from all over the world.

The museum offers multiple interactive activities that guarantee a fun and educational visit for all ages, ideal for family enjoyment. What really distinguishes LEGENDS is the possibility of listening to the fascinating anecdotes behind each exhibited relic, making history come alive and offering a much more enriching experience.

The nationalities that have visited the Museum the most since its opening are: Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Mexico, Israel, and Portugal. LEGENDS has proven to be a place of pilgrimage for football enthusiasts, regardless of their origin. This diversity of visitors reflects the universality of the world’s most popular sport.

Within Spain, the cities that lead in visits to the museum are Madrid, Barcelona, Toledo, Valencia, Alicante, Guadalajara, Zaragoza, Balearic Islands, Malaga, and Murcia. These cities represent the fervor and devotion that Spaniards feel for football.

Moreover, in terms of gender, the numbers reveal that 53.60% of the visitors are male, while 46.41% are female. This almost equitable parity reflects the growing participation of women in the world of football and underscores the importance of offering inclusive experiences for all fans.

All visitors have the possibility to download the LEGENDS app to enjoy a more complete experience. Each of the objects and relics has a QR code that expands the information on each of the pieces. According to the analyses carried out, the shirts that fans enjoy the most are the following: Alfredo Di Stefano, Raúl González Blanco, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the one Iker Casillas wore when he lifted the World Cup, donated by the player himself days before the Museum’s inauguration.
