It’s not a slogan and may seem pretentious, but it’s the conclusion we’ve reached after analyzing the data from the survey conducted with Sitges CB members, to understand the local MICE sector trend for 2024 and forecasts for 2025.
We wanted to analyze the sector’s evolution in Sitges, and the results show significant growth and consolidation of the destination. In 2024, compared to 2023, the MICE sector’s revenue has increased by 32.64%, representing 25.87% of its total turnover. Venues are leading this growth with a 39% revenue increase, while convention centers and hotels have seen a more moderate but notable rise of 25.88%.
56.60% of organizers come from the domestic market, while 43.40% are international. The most important countries are the UK, France, Germany, the Nordic countries, and the US/Canada. Specialized agencies and the corporate segment are the main influencers.
As of January, forecasts for 2025 show stability in convention centers and hotels (-0.25%), with slight growth in venues (+0.50%).

The 2025 forecasts are positive, reinforcing Sitges’ recognition and prestige as a leading and versatile MICE destination for both national and international events.
